In 1978, the introduction of the Mustang King Cobra II. The King Cobra was the only package with four-speed manual was offered a better suspension front and rear stabilizers, V8 302 variable-venturi Carbureator the Goodyear P195/70R13 radial tires and a wild color and graphics display.

Heavier but still terrible burden to 58% weight on the front of the car.
