1968 Ford Mustang Convertible

The 1968 Ford Mustang received a simpler grille and side and a limited number of 427 engines were slipped in the engine bays.
These engines were slightly detuned 427, but still cranked out 390bhp, enough fear to find the road.
Then, on April 1, 1968 Ford is best known series of engines, the 428 Cobra Jet. Based on the regular 428 but included larger valve heads, the race is 427 intake manifold and oil pan windage tray.
It was Ram-air induction and breathed through a functional hood ball. Power 335bhp to the list, but is rumored to be around 410bhp.
The Shelby is always available, which is also available convertible model and the Shelby Cobra. The GT-350 dropped to 289 cid engine with 306 hp and gain 302 cid 250 hp.
Mid was the GT-500 was deleted and replaced by the GT-500KR (  King of the Road ). The GT-500KR was the new Ram Air 428 Cobra Jet, still underestimated 335 HP.
