The 429 Cobra Jet 370bhp, wearing the best option was to service 429 Super Cobra Jet Ram Air had 11.3:1 compression, and generated 375bhp but the time for the 1 / 4 MILE was slower than the boss 351st

The boss 351 has a lower weight and net-351 engine, a radical solid lifter cam, 11.0:1 compression, Ram-air induction, and came with Hurst four-speed and 3.91:1 traction.

The Ford Mustang boss 302 and 429 continued in 1970. The 428 Cobra Jet continued as the engine choice of the top Mustang Mach 1 .The 429 Cobra Jet was rated at  370 bhp, while the Super Cobra Jet was rated at 375 hp. This will be the last year for the Shelby Cobra, which had in fact left over 1969 models with some minor changes to trim.

The Mustang was new for 1969 with the aim of attracting 3.8 cm in length, all the front wheels, and about 140 kg unladen weight.

The Mach 1 body began in 1969 and came standard with cid 351 V8 but could also work with the Cobra Jet 428, which are now three states of tune.

The Boss 429 package came with a race ready 429 cid V8 with induction air ram, an aluminum high riser manifold type header. Options include mandatory four-speed manual and a 3.91:1 Traction-Lok axle. Also included were an oil cooler, trunk mounted battery, the race suspension and the interior had to offer the best Mustang.
