1979 Mustang
1979 saw the debut of the new Mustang (the II was deleted), based on the new platform Fox. Mustang II in 1978, comparing the new Mustang 4,1 inches longer, 4.2 cm with a longer wheelbase, but weighed about 200 pounds. less.
The Mustang was compensated either two-door coupe or three-door models are available in hatchback, and an improved look and Ghia trim.
